I did this one for the mums who have a sense of humour about themselves, which honestly is most of the best ones. The lettering is bold and confident, World's Best Mom Just Ask Me runs across in a way that commits fully to the joke without winking too hard. Little floral sprigs soften it slightly around the edges and there's a small heart detail tucked in that stops it from feeling too sharp. The balance between funny and warm is just right here, I think.
No stitch count data attached to this one but the design is mostly text-forward with decorative sprigs and a small heart fill, so the run time is moderate and relatively forgiving. Text-heavy designs are fairly tolerant of minor tension variations as long as the hoop grip is solid. Tearaway stabiliser for woven fabrics like cotton canvas, denim, and twill. Go cutaway for knit sweatshirts or hoodies. A 75/11 sharp needle on cotton, ballpoint on knit fabrics.
This gets made for sweatshirts, tote bags, Mothers Day gifts, and funny birthday presents for mums who already have everything. A customer stitched it onto a white apron for her mum and said the whole family was quoting the apron for weeks afterwards. That kind of story is why I keep this one in the range. Also works really well on a zip pouch or a mug cozy if you're looking for a smaller make.
