So this is the valentine truck design and its one of my favourites in the whole shop honestly. The truck is that classic old pickup shape, rounded cab, chunky fenders, the kind that reminds you of something parked outside a farm stand. The truck bed is loaded up with heart balloons all floating upward at different heights, and below the whole thing theres a loose script that says XO Y'all in that casual hand-painted style.

Three colours total, which is why the stitch count gets up there, largest size hits nearly 32,000 stitches. The hearts in the balloon cluster use a dense satin fill, the truck body has directional stitching across the panels so it reads as a solid shape, and the lettering uses a satin column outline. Took alot of back and forth to get the density right on those heart floaters without it going stiff on lighter fabrics.

I get messages around valentines every year from people doing matching couples shirts with this one. One customer ordered it last february for a shop class teacher who drives a red pickup to school every day, said she cried a little when she got the shirt. And thats the kind of thing that makes me want to keep digitising designs like this.

Best results on a mid-weight cotton twill or denim where the satin stitching on the truck panels sits crisp. Skip very thin jersey for the largest size, the density will cause some puckering. Use a cutaway stabiliser because the heart cluster has alot of direction changes and a tearaway tends to shift. Pop it centred on a tote or across the chest of a sweatshirt, both work great.

Comes in 5 sizes from 3.5 inches 7.5 top end wide. Holler if you run into any issues loading the file and ill get it sorted for you.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentines day sweatshirtsThe large 7.5 inch size sits perfectly centred on a sweatshirt chest for a bold valentines statement piece.
  • Country couples matching shirtsStitch the same size on matching cotton tees for a country-style couples set that photographs really well.
  • Teacher valentine giftsA teacher who loves trucks will appreciate a shirt with this stitched on the left chest pocket area.
  • Tote bag front panelOn a plain cream or natural canvas tote the truck design fills the front panel without looking crowded.
  • Western-style pillow coversThe medium 5.5 in run on linen pillow cover gives a farmhouse-style bedroom a sweet valentines touch.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
