This is one of those designs I pulled together after alot of people started asking for something a lil bit sarcastic for February. The word "yep" is in thick black cursive, the kind that looks brush-lettered by hand with that slightly uneven weight you get when someones actually writing fast. And then theres a small sketchy red heart off to the side, not a perfect satin heart, more like someone outlined it twice and called it done. Below that, "STILL SINGLE" sits in wide block lettering, uppercase, with satin columns that give it real presence on fabric.
Punched the file via industry software. The red runs at 384 density so it doesnt go stiff on lighter cotton or linen, and the black script uses directional fills that follow the natural stroke angle. At the smallest hoop, 2.51 inches wide, the lettering still reads cleanly because the underlay carries the detail. Stitch range across all 5 sizes is 3,233 to 8,344, so even the big run on a 6.51-inch canvas wont bog down a standard machine.
A customer asked me last month whether this would work on a woven tote and yeah, it does realy well on medium-weight cotton. Use cutaway stabiliser underneath and youre sorted. Thats the only fabric note worth making here, skip water-soluble topping on the block text, it doesnt need it and can mess with the satin surface. Run it straight on a hooped base and the density takes care of the rest. Best on natural or white cotton if you want the 2-colour contrast to hit properly.
So if you want something for february that isnt roses and sweethearts, this one works. And it stitches out fast enough that you can run a bunch of them in a session. Add a name or date below if you want to personalise it further.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Funny valentine's day gift tote bag for a single friendStitch on a sturdy book tote with cutaway stabiliser, makes a practical and funny gift that actually gets used
- Iron-on patch base for denim jacketsHoop at the 2.51-inch size, stitch on a denim scrap, then trim and heat-press onto a jacket for a low-effort statement patch
- Galentine's party favours on cotton pouchesRun multiple small hoops on muslin pouches for a galentine's table, the 2-colour thread change is quick to batch
- Sarcastic mug wrap or coaster embroideryWorks on thick cotton coaster fabric hooped tightly; the block lettering stays sharp even on textured weaves
- Self-gift tee shirt for anti-Valentine's DayPop it centred on a chest pocket area of a plain tee, the horizontal layout sits naturally at that position
- Bachelorette party keepsake on small canvasStitch on a small 4x4 cotton canvas, add a ribbon loop, done, low stitch count means fast turnaround per unit
- Framed hoop art with a humour angleUse a wooden hoop as the frame, leave the stabiliser visible on back for a craft-fair look

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
