Its a stacked quote design that really fills the hoop. Curved red block capitals sweep over a sunflower head at the top, spelling out the 'you are my sunshine' lyric in bold arched text. Below that, a large cursive 'You' sweeps across in red with an underline bar, and underneath it sits 'my Heart' in warm orange script. Then bold orange block letters spell out the word for smiling at the very base, with a shadow effect that makes em pop forward. The sunflower sits in the background behind all that lettering, its petals done in golden yellow radiating out from a round centre, small leaf sprigs flanking the sides.

I built this in 2 colour changes only, red and golden yellow/orange tones, which actually makes the thread swaps easy even though the design has alot of visual weight. Five sizes ranging from 3.51 inches across up to 7.51 inches. Thats 25,461 stitches in the large hoop. The satin sits on the arched text and the bold base word needs a stable backing, Hoop a cutaway stabiliser onto cotton jersey or a tearaway on heavier denim. Stitch density is 586 which is a comfortable medium, and the directional fill in the sunflower petals gives them a nice radiating texture.

A customer wrote me last week saying she stitched this on a yellow linen tote and the 2-colour scheme worked really well against the warm background.
