Centre of the piece holds a strong silhouette of a black woman, full round afro, round glasses on her face, looking forward. Ringed all around her head sit ten hairstyling tool icons in a loose circle layout: hairdryer, open scissors, wide-tooth comb, hand mirror, spray bottle, round brush, perfume bottle, clippers, hot iron, and a salon cape tucked at the bottom. Tools are drawn line-art style with sketchy fills, the central afro is one bold solid black shape.
Single colour design, just black thread throughout. No colour changes, the whole run goes through start to finish. Stitch counts climb from 8,011 on the smallest 3.50-inch size up to 21,426 on the largest 4.50-inch. Density sits at 412 which is a firm-medium so the afro silhouette holds its shape on cotton apron canvas without flagging at the edges.
Tool icons run small and detailed, so the smaller you go the more you lose definition on the comb teeth and clipper details. I dont recommend stitching below 3.50 inch, the spray bottle nozzle starts looking like a smudge. Built in industry tools with proper directional satin on the afro fill and bean-stitch reinforcement on the tool outlines.
People have been ordering this one for salon-staff aprons and stylist gifts. One customer wrote me last summer asking if I could swap the round glasses for cat-eye frames, did it for her in about an hour. Stylists love this kind of representation, ive realised through customer messages over the past year. Stabilise apron canvas with one layer of medium cutaway, the dense centre shape needs the support. For the 8011 stitch version on a lightweight cotton tote, switch to no-show mesh cutaway.
Skip lightweight silk and stretchy jersey, the tool detail wont hold. Stick to cotton, polycotton, brushed twill, or apron canvas for cleanest definition. Pair the 4-inch with a black canvas stylist apron pocket panel for a professional salon-staff look.
Text me a picture if your machine gives you trouble on the nozzle area, ill walk you through fixing the tension.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
