Its a wings-plus-halo combo but the halo is the real focus here. Sitting above the gap where the two wings meet, its digitised as a bold oval ring, not a thin line, so it reads clearly even on the smaller 1.74-inch size. The wings themselves are outlined with layered satin sections, each feather row separated by a clean underlay so they dont blur together when you hoop them on cotton or linen.
Use a medium-weight tearaway or cutaway stabiliser under your fabric and the halo stitches out clean at all five sizes. I get a fair few questions about whether it reads at the tiny 1.74-inch, it does. The satin density sits at 336 per inch so its not a dense fill, just outlines, which means theres very little stitch buildup. Pop it on quilted cotton or chambray and it lays flat without pulling.
Stitch range goes from 4,085 on the 1.74 x 3.51 inch version right up to 9,407 on the 3.73 x 7.51 inch. Last week someone asked me about putting the 2.74-inch on a christening gown collar and it fitted perfectly with room to spare. One colour, zero colour changes, so load it and walk away, aswell as being one of the quickest setups I offer. Hit me up via the shop when you run into any sizing questions and I'll get back to you fast.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Embroidered onto a baby onesie as a sweet memorial or christening motifThe compact 1.74 x 3.51 inch size fits neatly on a onesie chest without overwhelming the fabric.
- Stitched on a white cotton pillowcase for a nursery or keepsake pieceWhite cotton pillowcases take the dark green thread well, the contrast is clean and the satin outlines stay crisp after washing.
- Used as a back-of-collar design on a child's dress or baptism outfitThe narrow width makes this sit right at a collar seam without needing repositioning.
- Added to a tote bag or canvas pouch for a faith-inspired giftCanvas tote bags are thick enough that you wont need a topping, just hoop firmly with a cutaway backing.
- Sewn onto a fleece blanket square for a memorial quilt panelQuilt panels work best with the 3.73 inch size so the halo reads at a distance when the blocks are assembled.
- Placed on a denim jacket yoke as a subtle spiritual accentOn denim, use a tearaway stabiliser and a sharp 80/12 needle to get through the weave cleanly.
- Used on a kitchen towel or linen napkin for a religious household giftLinen napkins hoop best with a water-soluble topping to stop the needle sinking into the open weave.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
