Two solid baby footprints sitting at the centre with detailed feathered angel wings spreading outward to the left and right. Each wing carries tiered overlapping feather shapes stitched in directional satin so the layers catch the light differently and read with real depth, not just a flat wing outline. The broad horizontal landscape composition is wider than tall, so the 7-inch size still measures just over 3 inches in height. Memorial keepsake design alot of the time, but it also works as a guardian-angel motif for a healthy newborn.
Five sizes from 3.01 inches at 5,907 stitches up to 7.01 inches at 16,153 stitches. Single colour, no colour stops. Density runs heavy at 751 because of the layered feather satin shapes packed close together. Heres a heads up, the wings have 28 trim stops baked in at the smallest size and 34 at the largest, which is alot of jump-trim moves between feather layers. So budget abit more stitching time and use polyester thread that handles repeated trim restarts without fraying.
I built the feathers in my software with each feather layer running its own directional satin angle, fanning outward from the body so the wing pattern reads as natural movement instead of stiff repetition. The underlay sits as a tight zigzag walking stitch underneath each feather column to anchor it cleanly. A customer sent me a photo last spring of the 5-inch stitched on a charcoal fleece memorial blanket in soft white thread for her sister-in-law who lost a baby, and it was honestly one of the most moving uses ive seen of any design Ive made.
Best on charcoal, navy, ivory, sage, soft pink, dusty blue, and pale grey fleece, cotton interlock, woven cotton, and lightweight terry. Use 2 layers of medium cutaway behind any knit because of the density. Skip thick sherpa and high-pile fleece, the feather detail closes up in the loft. Pop topping over visible weaves. Pair with a name or date stitched below the wings for a personalised keepsake or memorial piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
