This blue bird is kinda sitting there like it owns the place, settled right down into the woven twig nest with that perfectly round shape. The bird is facing forward so ya see the full chest and the small beak. Seven colours altogether and the density on this one is high at 1,226 so the fills are actually packed in and the finished piece looks dense and rich on fabric.
The nest section is the technically interesting bit. Its done in tatami fill with directional changes to suggest the actual twig-weave structure, which is way harder to digitise than a flat satin fill. The bird feathers use directional stitching that follows the natural body shape so the blue sections look like actual feathers not just a coloured patch.
Five sizes from 3.5 inches wide pushing to 7.51 inches, stitch count goes from about 25,000 up to nearly 58,000 on the largest. A customer told me last spring she stitched the 5-in feature on a sand linen cushion for her sister who keeps birds and it looked like a proper nature illustration. Use a good cutaway stabiliser for any size over 4 inches, the density needs the support underneath.
Best on white, cream or sage cotton, linen, or canvas. Skip knit or stretchy fabrics because the tight stitch density will cause puckering. Pre-wash your fabric and iron flat before hooping. Use topping on anything with a slight texture so the fine feather stitching comes through cleanly.
Reach out if the thread colour order looks off or the file wont open, Ill sort it out for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
