So heres my five bluebirds on a branch design and its been my best spring seller since i digitised it last february. Two birds perched on the branch chatting at each other, three more mid-flight with wings spread coming in from the right. They all wear bright royal blue and electric blue feathers, coral pink breasts, black face masks and white cheek flashes. The branch is dressed in lime green leaf buds and patches of bright green moss. Stitch range runs 14k to 31k.
Twelve thread colours total, dense satin fill on the bodies and wings makes the colour really sing. Density sits at 805 which is medium-heavy. The directional stitching across the wing feathers gives them lift, you can almost feel the breeze. Eleven colour changes total, gonna want to lay your spools out before you start to keep things moving. Sews up around 33 minutes on a 5x7 hoop.
Best fabric pairings, midweight cotton tee, kraft canvas tote, white linen tea towel or a soft jersey baby blanket. Skip terry cloth or fluffy fleece because the small face details and beak lines will get lost in the pile. Use a no-show mesh cutaway stabiliser on knits, the dense satin sections want a steady base or theyll pull and warp after a few washes. A bit of water-soluble topping helps the wing detail stay crisp.
I get a steady run of messages every march from garden centre gift buyers and bird-watching club merch organisers. One customer ordered the 6 inch on twenty linen tea towels last april for her mums 80th birthday brunch in the garden, every guest took one home with a cup of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle. Such a happy spring scene.
Pop the 4 inch on a chest tee, run the 7.5 across a tea towel, kitchen apron front or framed hoop wall art. Pair with stitched lettering underneath that reads spring or the family last name. The directional wing detail honestly looks better the larger you go.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
