A spider decided to sit on the B and honestly nobody stopped him. The BOO text is big rounded block letters and the little guy on top has stubby legs and the most harmless round eyes you've ever seen on a spider. Kinda hard to be scared of it. Three colours: black body, white dot eyes, and the block letter fill, six thousand one hundred and fifty four stitches at a 3.5 x 2.8 inch footprint, density 97 which is on the lighter side so it stitches fast and sits flat without any tension drama.

I digitised this in my main software with the intention of it being beginner-friendly, three colour stops, low density, no complex satin sections that require stabiliser fussing. A standard tearaway stabiliser on cotton works for this. If youre putting it on a knit shirt a light cutaway is better but dont overthink it; the 97 density means the design wont fight your fabric even on medium jersey. The spider body uses a slightly tighter directional fill than the BOO letters just to separate the two visually, so the little fella reads as a distinct element rather than merging into the text.

One customer wrote me last week saying they'd ordered it for a matching set of halloween totes for their book club, six bags, all stitched in the same afternoon, no issues. That kind of repeat stitch-out reliability is what I aim for with the lower-density designs. Pop it on a trick-or-treat bag, a halloween shirt, a cotton tote, add black thread on orange fabric and you've got peak halloween energy without spending an hour at the machine. Skip white or very pale fabric if you want the white spider eyes to read clearly; you need a bit of contrast behind those tiny dots.

Stitch on medium-weight cotton with tearaway stabiliser for the fastest clean result at this density.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
