This rabbit isnt the cartoon kind. The whole design is a close-up portrait of a grey lop bunny with floppy ears, and the fur is rendered with directional thread layers in five or six different grey and tan tones so it actually reads as fur when stitched, not just a flat grey fill. The eyes are a warm amber-orange that stands out well against all those cool greys. Upper right of the face theres a large cream daisy with a buff-coloured centre, and wild grass spikes fan out behind the whole composition.
15 colours with 15 thread changes so this one takes setup time. But the density is what makes it look so good at the larger sizes, roughly 1,400 stitches per square inch at the smallest size and the same ratio scaling up. Thats genuinely detailed work. At 7 inches the realism really shows. I've had a few people tell me last spring they thought it was a printed piece until they looked up close, customers are usually quite suprised when they realise its all thread. At the smaller end it still holds but the fine fur strokes compress a bit, which still looks good on a structured bag or jacket.
Hoop it tight and flat, any movement in a dense design like this shows as gaps in the fill. Pop cutaway behind on any knit or canvas that has even slight give. Stitch on medium-weight linen, heavy cotton twill, denim, and structured canvas. Skip thin silky stuff, the density will drag and pucker. Ping me if somethings off with the file, I check messages daily and sort issues same day usually.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Wildlife and nature wall art hoopsStretched in a 7 inch wooden hoop with linen it makes wall art people assume is a painting at first glance.
- Linen tote bag centrepieceCentred on a thick canvas tote it works as a year-round bag for people who like nature illustration aesthetics.
- Denim jacket back panelsOn the upper denim shirt-jacket back it has the scale and detail to hold its own as a statement piece.
- Spring home decor cushion coversA large size on a beige cotton cushion cover works nicely in a spring living room without looking themed.
- Nature-themed baby nursery piecesIn the smaller sizes its gentle enough for a nursery quilt panel or the front of a soft baby blanket.
- Botanical gift shop merchandiseFor small makers or gift shops the realism of the design makes it feel like something bought at a botanical boutique.
- Pet owner personalised giftsRabbit owners specifically love this for personalised items, totes, pouches, or framed pieces for the rabbit room.
- Framed hoop art for living roomsFramed in a simple white frame with ivory linen fabric it sells well as ready-made hoop wall art.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
