Sketched up this christmas bow and holly leaves design and its got real presence. The bow is centre stage with two fat loops tied up tight and two tails dropping down, and on each side theres a sprig of holly with 3 dark green leaves fanning out and a lil cluster of red berries sitting right where the leaves meet. The whole thing reads traditional christmas without being overly ornate.
Five colour threads in total: red bow, holly green foliage, bright red berries, cream or white for the bow highlight, and a deep accent green. Comes in 6 sizes, smallest about 2 inches wide up to just over 6 inches for a full stocking front or table runner centrepiece. Stitch counts go from around 8,700 on the small end to about 35,000 on the largest so use a good cutaway stabiliser on anything with stretch. Satin fill on the bow makes it pop off the fabric nicely.
One customer told me last december she did a ya bunch of these on hessian table runners for a christmas market stall and they sold out in 2 hours. She used the 4 inch size and left the runners natural colour so the red and green really stood out. I totally get why, the contrast works realy well on a neutral ground.
Pop it on the toe of a knit stocking, centre it on a cotton tea towel, or stitch it on the chest of a festive apron. Use a topping on terry cloth or fluffy fabrics so the satin stitch doesnt sink in. The hooped area needs to be firm, especially on the larger 6 inch version where the density runs high. Ping me if anything looks off with the file and Ill get a fix out same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
