Heres the christmas narwhal in aqua mint, decked out in a tilted red santa hat with a white wire wrap of multicolour string lights running along his entire body from horn to tail. The lil narwhal smiles big with rosy pink cheeks and one cute googly eye, his spiral white horn sticks straight up. Bulbs are in red, green, orange, purple, and powder blue, all hanging off a soft grey cable that loops around his curved body and tail.
11 colours total which is the heaviest swap count in the slice. Aqua mint for the body, red and white for the hat, rosy pink for cheeks, grey for wire, white for highlights, then several brights for the bulbs, plus black for outlines. Stitches run 12,735 on the smallest 2.72 by 3.5 inch up to 29,643 on the largest 5.83 inch version, density at 678 medium-heavy. Im running the digitising through professional tools, the satin angle sweeps across the narwhal body so its curves read smooth not blocky. Youll find the horn spiral satin reads clean too.
I get messages alot from kids parents asking about this one for christmas pyjama tops. One customer ordered the 5 inch size last christmas for a batch of toddler sleep shirts in white cotton jersey, she told me the narwhal got compliments from every grandparent at the family dinner. the chest-3.5 also fits onto a stocking cuff or sweatshirt pocket.
Best on smooth cotton, fleece, jersey with heavy backing, or canvas where the bulb outlines stay crisp. Use medium cutaway stabiliser, the colour stops mean alot of fabric stress. Skip thin chiffon and sheers, the density will pucker em. Pop topping above fleece pile so the lil string lights dont sink in, those bulb outlines are fine. Run polyester thread on the multicolour bulbs because the brights need to stay punchy through machine washing. Pre-wind a few bobbins, the colour swaps eat them quick. Slow down your machine speed for the bulb section, those small shapes register cleaner at a lower rate.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
