Knocked out this cowboy skull gunman last halloween for a country bar owner who wanted custom merch for his october dress up event. So I drew up a skull faced outlaw in a wide brim cowboy hat, orange hat band, pointing a revolver straight forward in a classic draw and fire pose. His other arm tucks at his side and he wears an orange fringe western shirt with a dusty blue bandana scarf knotted around his neck.
Heavy black line outline does the structural work, the skull face stays bone white with negative space showin through the eye sockets and the open jaw. But the colour fills carry the western mood, burnt orange on the hat band and the fringe shirt, deep dusty denim blue on the bandana. Just three thread colours total but the contrast hits hard against a dark ground.
Vertical bust composition that ends at his rib cage area. Four sizes total, widths run from 3.6 to 6 inches and heights from 4.49 to 7.51 inches. Stitch counts range from 15k to 30k, the largest finishes in about twenty minutes through the machine. Atleast the colour count keeps thread changes minimal, so the workflow stays quick.
Best on cotton, denim, twill, canvas, or felt. Black, charcoal grey, navy, oxblood red, and forest green grounds all work nicely, that burnt orange shirt pops loudest against black or denim. Honestly Ive been recommendin black for this one across the board. Skip lighter pastel grounds since the cowboys outline wants strong contrast to read his pose properly.
Pop midweight cutaway under, the shirt fill section pulls the hoop a fair bit, cant skimp on backing here. Hooped on a black tee for the bar customer, his bartenders wore matching shirts at the october event and the crowd asked alot about where to get the same one. So he ordered ten more for a regular merch run, says theyve been sellin steady ever since.
Holler at me through the contact form if any file gives you trouble and ill swap it out same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
