This is the curly hair woman silhouette and the hair is honestly the whole personality of the piece. She faces left in a clean profile, eyes closed, chin lifted just a lil, and the curls explode out from her head in this massive cloud that takes up more space than her whole face and shoulders combined. The curl shapes are loose and organic, some tight ringlets near the roots, big flowing waves spreading outward. Its not a flat shape, there are fine lines digitised inside the mass that break it up and stop it reading as a solid blob. Dont let the single-colour fool you, theres alot of detail in there.
Just black. Thats kinda the point, it works on absolutely anything because ya only need to match one thread. Swap it to cream on black linen for a reversed version, use white on navy denim for something fresh, stitch black on sage cotton for a natural earthy combo. I been using this one as a go-to for custom hair salon tote bags since I digitised it last autumn and it never gets old.
Nine sizes from 3.38 up to 7.25 inches wide. The stitch count runs 13,557 on the smallest up to 37,515 on the biggest. The density is a reasonable 692 which keeps it manageable on lighter fabrics like muslin or chiffon if you back it properly. One colour change total, basically none at all. Simple thread load, no swapping mid-stitch.
Pair the medium size on a linen tote for a hair salon waiting area. Stitch the large version across the denim shacket reverse for a bold statement piece. Pop the small 3.38-inch on a canvas pencil pouch for a beauty gift set filler. Use a lightweight tearaway on woven linen and cotton, switch to cutaway stabiliser if the base is any kind of knit or stretch fabric. The fine curl lines need good topping on textured fabric like waffle or towelling or they sink into the pile.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
