The dandelion is kinda one of those designs I kept coming back to because the concept is just realy sweet. Instead of seeds blowing off the head, its tiny hearts floating away in every direction, some close to the stem and some drifting way up. The stem itself keeps that wispy dandelion look with a few little threads still attached where the hearts have blown off.
Five colours total and the digitising work is all about keeping those floating hearts feeling light. Im using very low density satin on the individual hearts so they sit smooth without being heavy, and the stem is done with fine running stitches rather than a chunky satin column. That contrast between the delicate stem lines and the slightly bolder heart fills is what makes the whole thing read well from a distance. Largest size is around 18,600 stitches, smallest just over 8,400.
People have been ordering this one for spring and anniversary gifts just as much as valentines. One customer sent me a photo last april of it stitched onto a muslin journal cover for her mums birthday and it looked truly lovely. That kind of neutral setting is where this design does its best work.
Stitch it on linen, cotton canvas, muslin or soft denim. A tearaway stabiliser works perfectly for the woven fabrics since the density is on the lower side. Avoid very stretchy knits because the wispy stem lines can distort if the fabric shifts. Try the 7 inch size on a shirt for a centred chest piece or the 5-in version for tote for something subtler.
Drop a chat if you have trouble with anything and Ill get it fixed.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
