Drew this dark wizard last halloween for a hoodie order, the customer wanted somethin between a tarot card and a metal band print. Got a hooded figure in a tall pointed hat, face lost in shadow under the brim, one hand cradling a glowing white skull at chest height. The other hand reaches out toward you like hes mid spell. Ive been redrawin little details on this one all year, the ghost in the top corner only showed up after the second pass.
Stars and tiny flames ring the whole composition in a circle border, ghosts and moons float around the figure too, you can spot the little details on closer look. Just three thread colours doin the heavy lifting, deep black for the robe and outline, bone white for the skull and stars, a dusty teal fill behind him for that misty cauldron light, real woodcut printmaking energy.
Works best on darker grounds, deep navy, charcoal grey, oxblood and ofcourse straight black all carry the contrast. The teal background fill behind the wizard reads like moonlight which means it pops loudest on midnight blue cotton or black french terry hoodie cloth. I would skip pastel fabrics here, the whole vibe wants moody darkness.
Five sizes from 3.26 inches wide for a small patch up to 6.97 inches wide and 7.51 tall for a full back panel piece, smallest comes in at 36k stitches the largest jumps to nearly 87k. Back it with no-show mesh on, the dense black robe section eats fabric tension. Hoop the heavier sizes only on stable fleece or canvas, the smallest fits a chest pocket no problem.
Email me through the shop contact form if any file refuses to open on your machine, ill resend a fresh copy that day. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser behind the satin work, and watch density on stretch fabrics. Email me a chat message if the punch needs work and Ill fix it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
