Four deer in a loose group, two big stags with full antler racks taking the left and right positions, a doe in between facing a different direction and a small fawn at the front right. The way theyre arranged makes the composition feel like a real moment, like they just paused and you caught them. Sparse grass tufts at the base give it ground without filling it with unnecessary detail. The whole design has this etching-print quality where the fills are made of parallel hatched lines rather than solid colour blocks.
Really only 7 colours doing the work here, shades of tan and rust brown with peach cream highlights and charcoal for the shadow areas. my main software built the fills with tatami underlay and directional running stitch layers which is what gives it that engraved look. Stitch count runs from 14k on the smallest 3.4 by 3.5-inch to 36k on the big 7.29 by 7.5-inch. Nine sizes total, kinda perfect range for this subject. Dont let the 36k put you off, its a loose open fill so it stitches smooth.
I get asks about this one from woodland lodge decorators, cabin rental owners and hunting apparel shops pretty regularly. A customer last autumn stitched the large version on a set of cream linen cushion covers for a mountain cabin rental property. Said the guests kept asking where they were from. Thats really what I make things for.
Goes well on oatmeal linen, cream cotton canvas, tan twill and natural burlap. The earth tones are already soft so you dont need a pale background but a pale one lets the cream highlights breathe properly. Avoid very dark fabric because the peach and tan fills disappear in the shadows. Pair knit-friendly cutaway woven cotton and linen, cutaway on anything with stretch.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
