The lil duckling has its wings wrapped around the teddy bear from behind in a full squeeze, the bear sitting with its chocolate brown arms out like its just been surprised by the hug. this is one of those pieces where the emotional read lands immediately, ya dont need to study it for long. That red bow at the bears throat is a nice detail that pops well against all that chocolate brown satin.
Twenty-four colours is a lot to manage in a single hoop so I used my main digitising tool last christmas season to sequence the colour changes efficiently, it brought the stop count down to something reasonable without dropping detail. The satin fills on the duck are directional, the feathers run along the body axis rather than straight across which is what gives that plush quality. Density sits at 1,244 which is on the firmer side, so use a heavier cutaway stabiliser for a cream pillow or any woven base. Hoop it taut or the cream centre face on the bear will drift during the satin fill passes.
Stitch count goes from 44,154 on the smallest 4.45 inch wide size up to 72,586 on the 6.87 inch version. Both sizes are large enough that this one belongs on a pillow cover, tote bag or blanket panel rather than a small garment piece. Pick the 5-inch size if youre unsure, it fits most standard pillow hoops without pushing the edges.
Buyers who pick up this design often send me photos of it on nursery decorative pillows, the cream fabric works well against the butter yellow and chocolate palette. One customer put it on a large quilted bag as a gift and the recipient thought it was hand-painted at first, which is honestly the best kind of feedback. Stitch the accent bow last so it sits cleanly on top of the bear body fill.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
