The two figures face each other, close together, like they're right in that moment before or just after the ceremony. Both bodies are solid black satin fill, no facial features, no fine detail up top. The groom is a clean dark suit silhouette, the bride has her hair up. But then the dress is something else entirely. From about the knee down the gown opens into this wide flowing train covered in curling scrollwork, large C-curves and spiral flourishes that spread across the floor like lacework. Its completely at odds with how graphic and simple the upper halves are, and thats exactly what makes it work.
Use on light fabric and it photographs really cleanly, which matterns when people post wedding gifts on social media or lay them out at the reception table. One colour, no thread changes, stitch range runs 6k to about 21k depending on size. Stitch it on ivory linen for a gift that looks like it cost twice what it did. I had a bridesmaid last spring order this for a set of hessian favour bags, and she told me every guest wanted to know where they came from.
It also works in thread colours beyond black. Try charcoal grey on dove-grey fabric for a soft tonal look. Navy on pale blue reads more formal. White on ivory for a romantic keepsake towel or pillowcase. Thats three completely different products from a single file, which is honestly one of the more flexible designs in the wedding category.
Put a firm woven cutaway stabiliser beneath this one because the scrollwork hemline has thin fine curves that need solid hooping to hold shape. Use a stable woven backing on cotton or linen and trim close after stitching. Hoop the fabric and stabiliser together snug before you start and dont let the hoop slip partway through.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
