Tried a few different type pairings before landing on bold uppercase block for 'YOU ARE' and loose informal cursive for 'enough' -- the contrast between the two styles is what makes it land. The block letters feel like a statement, the cursive underneath softens it. Theres a small heart or loop built into the tail of the final letter that you only notice when you're close to the fabric. One colour, no thread changes, just black thread on whatever base fabric you choose.
I make a lot of single-colour quote designs and this is one of the more requested ones. A customer wrote me last month saying she'd stitched it on a canvas tote for her daughter who was going through a hard time and that the daughter wouldnt put the bag down. Thats the kind of thing that makes these designs worth making. Single colour means the message does all the work without any colour distractions -- on white linen or cream cotton it reads quiet and considered rather than loud.
Three sizes in the zip -- 3 inch, 4 inch, 5 inch -- stitch count ranging from 3,528 stitches up to 6,201. All fast runs, even the largest size. Use light tearaway on cotton. Stitch it on a firm fabric like canvas or linen if youre framing it -- the satin fill on the uppercase section benefits from a stable base. Skip stretchy fabric, the letters distort.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Canvas tote bags as a daily affirmation messageon a thick canvas tote the black lettering reads clean without any colour distraction.
- stretched hoop piece for a bedroom or workspace wallIn a 5 or 6 inch wooden hoop with white linen it looks like intentional wall typography.
- Cushion covers and throw pillows for an inspirational home accentOn a 50x50cm cushion the 5 inch size sits centred without taking up the whole front.
- Gift items for friends going through difficult periodsThe message resonates as a supportive gift without needing extra explanation.
- Shirt pocket or chest area for a personal motto pieceOn a light denim shirt chest pocket the single colour reads strong and personal.
- Journals and notebook covers with an embroidered fabric panelOn a fabric panel glued or stitched onto a hardcover notebook it looks handmade in a good way.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
