Autumn leaf border frame in russet red, amber orange and golden yellow, leaves all the way round, open centre. Maple and oak leaf shapes arranged head to tail around the perimeter so the frame feels organic, like someone placed them by hand on a table, not plotted on a grid. The leaves overlap slightly in the corner clusters which gives it that layered botanical feel instead of looking like a clip-art border from 2003.
Five colours in the file: russet red and amber orange for the dominant leaf fills, golden yellow as a secondary tone, olive green on a few leaves scattered through to break the warmth, and deep brown for the outline and vein detail lines. Stitch count runs 7,104 at the smallest to 16,323 at the largest, which is light. Density at 312 means its forgiving on most fabric weights.
What makes this one useful is the empty centre. People use it as a monogram frame with a name or initials inside, or leave the middle open and hoop it as a standalone wreath. I had a customer last autumn who ran the 7-inch version on hessian fabric for a market stall sign backing, she stitched her farm name in the centre with a separate text file. Came out looking really proper.
Use it on cream, natural linen, oatmeal cotton or hessian. The earthy colour palette reads best on warm-neutral backgrounds. Skip white fabric because the cold ground undercuts the warmth in the leaf colours and the whole design feels flat. Hoop tight, then stitch the leaf fills before the outline runs so the satin edge locks down cleanly. Use tearaway stabiliser on linen weight, a soft cutaway on canvas or heavier fabric to stop the border corners lifting. Email me if youre unsure which size to run for a specific project and Ill point you in the right direction.
8 machine-ready files in the bundle, one zip with the lot. Contact me with questions and Ill sort it out same day.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
