Two red reindeer, one on each side, both turned inward facing a christmas tree in the middle. Theyre done in that flat filled folk art style where the body is solid red with black outlines, the antlers branch out wide, and the legs are mid-stride like theyre walking or prancing toward the tree. The tree itself is green with red berries dotted through it and a red star on top. The whole composition sits inside a frame of green curling scrollwork and small leaf motifs, with 4-pointed red stars scattered in the gaps and a small decorative bow at the bottom centre. Its very symmetrical, which honestly makes it look more expensive than it is, and thats exactly what I was going for.
Customers asked about a reindeer pair design for a good while before I finished this one, so I digitised it with christmas stockings and pillow panels in mind. Four colour changes, red then green then black then the small accent fills. Stitch counts go from just over 15k at the smallest 3.5 inch size up to 33k stitches at the full 7.5 inch. Digitised in Wilcom, density is 614 throughout so the scrollwork fills stay solid without going stiff. Dont let the stitch count at the top size put you off, its not a difficult design to run.
Tape a cutaway stabiliser behind your fabric before hooping for anything stretchy. The thin scrollwork lines in green need proper backing or they can pull on lighter fabrics. Tearaway works for tightly woven cotton or linen. Hoop everything square and centred because the symmetry in this design means any off-centre placement shows immediately. If its even a lil bit off it catches the eye straight away.
Stitch it on cream or white fabric for maximum red and green contrast. It also works on natural linen or light oatmeal grounds where the red really pops. Skip busy patterned fabric because the scrollwork frame gets lost. The 5 inch size is ideal for stocking cuffs, the 7 inch for cushion fronts. Go slow through the scrollwork sections and email me if you run into any file issues.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
