Six colors, 5 sizes and the image is two reindeer facing each other with their antlers tangled up in christmas lights. The bulbs are round and hang down between the antlers on a thin garland wire, mixed colors of red, green, blue and orange, and right in the center theres a big puffed-up red bow where the string ties together. Below the deer faces, 'Merry' sits on one line in dark green script and 'christmas' on the next in red, slightly larger, with a little star tucked into the lettering. the layout works well when it feels like its already been on a christmas card somewhere, warm and immediately recognisable.
Six colors but the thread changes are really manageable. The two tan shades for the reindeer bodies go in first, then you're cycling through the green, red, and the two small bulb accent colors. The brown antlers have a nice texture from the satin column direction changes, gives them some dimension. Deer faces are simple, just enough to read as cartoon reindeer without overcrowding.
Customers email me about this one every christmas season, mostly people making matching family sweatshirts or holiday gift bags. One of my regular customers used it last year on a set of felt stockings and they looked genuinely lovely.
Stitch it on fleece, cotton, canvas and felt, the deer body satin fills especially look nice on thick fleece. Stick mid-weight cutaway behind stretch jersey to stop the fills shifting. Skip very thin fabric on the larger sizes. Message me if any file wont open and ill sort it right away.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Family christmas sweatshirtsCentred on the front of a matching set of family sweatshirts this makes a simple coordinated christmas photo outfit.
- Holiday gift bags and totesA medium size on a heavy canvas tote turns it into a reusable christmas gift bag that people actually keep.
- Christmas stocking panelsStitched onto the front panel of a large felt stocking it makes the stocking feel hand-made rather than shop-bought.
- Festive throw pillow coversA large version centred on a cream or white pillow cover makes easy holiday decor that packs away without damage.
- Christmas tree skirtsOne or two repeats on a plain felt tree skirt fill the base of the tree with something that looks considered.
- Matching couples holiday shirtsSame design on two plain shirts makes a simple couples christmas outfit that doesnt require matching pajamas.
- Kids fleece jacketsOn the chest of a kids fleece jacket it gives a quick holiday upgrade to a coat they already wear regularly.
- Seasonal apronsA medium size on the front of a plain canvas apron makes a nice christmas kitchen piece for gifting or personal use.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
