Took me a while to get the branch texture right on this one. The trees have this spiky pine needle look where each branch fans out from the trunk, short at the top and longer as you go down. Customers asked me all the time for something that looked like a real decorated tree rather than a cartoon blob, so thats basically what I was going for here. Last christmas I finally got the needle texture looking the way I wanted it.
Three trees total, the middle one taller than the two on the sides. Red and green ball ornaments hang from the branch tips, and theres a gold star at the top of each tree. Snow at the base is stitched in a pale grey so it reads as snow without disappearing on light fabric. Seven colours in the design and the density is around 548, so its a proper full stitch design not a sketchy outline.
Stitch it on a plain sweatshirt or a canvas tote and it looks sharp. The 5.5 inch version sits nicely on a left chest pocket area, the 7.5 inch version fills a front of shirt real well. Use a cutaway stabiliser behind it, the satin columns on the ornaments need something solid underneath. Tape a layer of wash-away topping behind the hoop before you stitch if your fabric has any texture or nap to it. Email me if the file isnt working right and Ill get you sorted.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Holiday tote bags and canvas shoppersStitch two or three at different angles across a canvas tote for a repeating pattern look.
- Christmas tree skirts and festive table runnersGreat along the border of a tree skirt in a row, alternating with simpler motifs.
- Embroidered ornament pillows for couch or bedA single tree centred on a cushion cover makes a fast holiday gift in an afternoon.
- Personalised Christmas gifts for teachers and neighboursAdd a name above or below the trees using your machine's lettering for a personal touch.
- Baby bibs and onesies for a first christmas outfitThe 5.5 inch version is small enough to fit on a larger bib without crowding the design.
- Advent calendar pockets and gift bagsThree-tree design fills a wide rectangular gift bag panel without needing to resize.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
