Six-pointed star shape, the kind with sharp points in all directions, and the inside is completly packed with little Christmas motifs. Theres curling scroll tails, small 4-petal flowers, spiky snowflake bursts, a few tiny heart shapes, and dot clusters tucked in wherever theres space. The star outline itself is clean and unbroken, which gives it that sharp silhouette even from a distance.
3 thread colors in this design. Red takes up the most real estate, filling the larger rounded shapes and the scroll bodies. Dark green handles the leaf forms and the spiky radiating elements. Aqua comes in on the scroll ends and outlines. Its a classic Christmas palette but the mix of motif types keeps it from looking generic. Hoop the fabric on a medium-weight stabiliser before you start, the satin fill sections in the scrollwork need the base to stay flat.
Use the smallest size if youre going on garments or bags. Scale up to the 5 or 6 inch version for hoop art or pillow panels. Stitch the largest at 7.5 inches for a tree skirt centrepiece. People have been using this one on felt ornaments too, cutting around the star after stitching and backing it with a second layer of felt, looks proper handmade which is the whole point. Pop the cut-out ornament on a ribbon and its done.
2 colour changes to manage, aqua first, then green, then red last. The density is around 400, so it stitches cleanly on most medium-weight fabrics without puckering. Dont skip the stabiliser on lighter fabrics though, the scrollwork is satin-filled and needs the support.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
