Came up with this floral anchor design after noticing how many people want the nautical look but also love botanical stuff. The anchor itself is solid and clean up top, the shaft goes down and then at the base theres a big cluster of open flowers with cross-hatched centres, layered leaves fanning out on both sides and small buds or berry stems filling the gaps. Floral and nautical. Both.
Its all single black thread with no colour changes, which suprised me a litte honestly because the design reads as quite rich even in monochrome. The detail in the flower petals and the leaf veining means you get alot of visual texture. Stitch count on the larger 7.51 inch version is 23,438 so this is a dense piece, the smallest at 4.51 inches runs about 13,097.
Most orders here come from customers making gifts for women who sail, or coastal home goods, the combination makes sense for both audiences. Four sizes in the file, from 4.51 inches up to 7.51 inches. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser, the flower cluster has loads of directional fill and the density is high enough that you want good backing underneath to stop the fabric pulling.
Works best on plain fabric where the detail can breathe. White linen, cream canvas, navy cotton all look great. Pair it on a tote or a cushion cover and the black-on-light contrast brings all that floral texture out. Avoid dark fabrics with this one unless you use a topping so the stitch detail doesnt disappear. A customer last week stitched the 5.5-in size for a cream linen tote and it came out just as good as the preview image. Text me if you have any trouble with the file and Ill get it sorted fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
