Pulled inspiration for this one from those old art nouveau botanical portraits where the woman and the plants are basically the same thing. Its a womans face, front-on, with simple eyes and a calm expression, and the top half is taken over completely by a flower crown. Big open blooms, wide leaves, smaller buds, all flowing outward from the head like its growing rather than placed. The trailing hair strands at the sides blend into the stems so it reads as one piece rather than a face with a hat on.
4 sizes in the file, stitch count going from around 2,024 at the smallest up to 25,781 at the largest size. Single colour throughout, no thread swaps needed. Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio. Because this is mostly satin outline work with some filled detail sections in the flower petals and face, you dont need an especially heavy stabiliser. A medium cutaway works on most fabrics. Use a water-soluble topping if youre stitching on terrycloth or any looped surface so the outline stitches stay crisp and dont sink in.
She sent me a photo last autumn of the 6-inch run on a linen tote and the customer said her friend wears it everywhere. My daughter asked me for it last month on a cream sweatshirt and it actually looked gorgeous on the chest area, that botanical headdress almost reads like a real crown at that size. Works well on cream, sage, peach, and olive fabrics. Single colour so you can pick whatever thread colour fits your project, and it still reads clearly.
Stitch it on a tote, a hoodie, or frame the hoop. The floral crown detail shows up best at the larger sizes on stable woven fabric.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
