Single black thread, 5 sizes from 4 inches up to 8, and the whole design is just outlines. The tube of the stethoscope loops down and the two ends curl together into a heart at the base. Both sides carry floral sprigs, open daisy-style flowers with thin petals, little round berries, and paired leaf clusters. No fill anywhere, just outlines and detail lines doing alot of the work.
Its purely line art which means it stitches clean on almost any light fabric. The single colour makes thread swaps a non-issue. Stitch count sits between 3,430 and 6,433 stitches depending on size, so even the 8-inch version runs quick. Density is low enough that you dont need anything heavy under it, a no-show mesh stabiliser on woven cotton works fine. The outline sits crisp because theres no dense underlay pulling the fabric.
I get a lot of messages from nurses and midwives wanting something for their scrubs that isnt too novelty-looking. This one threads that needle honestly, its got the medical symbol right there but the flowers soften it so it reads more personal than clinical. Last spring a customer emailed me about stitching this on a pair of personalised scrub tops as a gift for her whole ward team. She said the line art look felt less silly than the cartoonish nurse designs she kept finding everywhere.
Stitch on white, pale grey, sage or navy scrub fabric for the cleanest read. The open line style picks up the background colour so light fabrics let the black really pop. Skip stretch jersey because the fine outline detail can shift on it. Hoop tight on woven cotton drill or twill and it sits flat first time.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
