The fur on this kitten is doing its own thing and nobody is stopping it. Spiky strays shoot out from the top of the head like the cat stuck its paw in a socket, there are wild curling tendrils coming off both sides of the body, and the whole silhouette is this big fuzzy messy oval. But right in the middle of all that chaos sits a totally serene face. Two massive icy blue eyes, a tiny red nose, small round mouth, pink inner ears just visible at the top. Its a complete contradiction and thats exactly why people love it.
The body fill is silver-grey with a golden amber streak running through the top head tuft. Charcoal shadow sits under the chin and between the fur spikes to give depth. The swirling outer fur strays are stitched as individual thin satin lines in ivory and white, some going fully off the design edge. Eleven colours to pull this whole thing off. Wilcom digitised it with the spike underlay going in before the surface fills, which is what keeps those stray fur lines from sitting flat.
Cat owners find this one and immediately they know which cat in their house inspired it. I get messages all the time with people tagging their own chaotic fluffballs. Just last week someone sent me a photo of the 5-in chest size on a black hoodie and it looked wild in the best way possible. Im actually considering making a whole series of different cat personalities at this point. The 7.51-inch version is the one you want if youre doing a proper showcase piece, but the 3.5-in size for a zip pouch pocket is kinda adorable too.
Stitch on black or dark charcoal fabric for maximum drama. The silver and white fur spikes absolutely pop forward on dark ground, and the pale blue eyes read clearly without competing background colour. Skip light or white fabric here, the grey fills dont have enough contrast against pale bases. Use a mesh cutaway stabiliser given the stitch count tops out at 47,020 on the largest size. Hoop tightly on anything with any give.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
