This fox sits right in the middle of a full woodland scene, not just floating against a blank background. Theres autumn leaves, ground detail, the kind of depth that makes it kinda really feel like a little painting when its finished. The fox itself has that rich russet colouring with the white chest and muzzle, and the digitising uses directional fill stitches that follow the natural direction of the fur so it doesnt just look flat.
Thirteen colour threads in total, which is complex but kinda manageable once you work through the sequence. I laid out the colour order logically, background and ground elements first, then the fox from body outward to the detail markings. Each colour change makes visible progress. My daughter and I stitched through this one together last October and even she could follow along once we got going, its the kind of design where you just keep wanting to see the next bit come out.
Only 3 sizes available, from 5.48 inches up to 7.5 inches wide. Stitch count starts at about 30,000 and goes up to 43,000 at the largest, density is 1,031 which puts this firmly in the heavy-density category. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser on all sizes, dont cut corners here. Hoop with denim, canvas or thick cotton twill only. Slow your machine speed to around 600-700 SPM for the dense fur sections. Use a topping on any fabric with a nap or texture.
Best result comes on dark olive, charcoal or cream canvas or denim. Avoid busy patterned fabrics as the background woodland elements need a clean ground to sit on. Works beautifully as a framed hoop piece and also on the back panel of a canvas jacket.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
