This is kinda just the most honest valentines design Ive made. Bold block lettering, yep on the top line and still single below it, with a lil accent heart that somehow makes it sadder and funnier at the same time. The font is clean and readable, the kind of typography that works as a slogan tee rather than decorative art, you can read it from across a room. No swirls, no romance. Just the truth.
Two colour design, stitch count goes from 5,050 at 3.5 inches wide up to 11,613 at 7.5 inches, five sizes total. Density at 408 is on the lighter side so its genuinely quick to stitch out. The lettering is done with a satin column and that little red heart at the end is a small satin fill, both digitised for crisp edges that stay sharp at every size. Even at the smallest size the text stays totally legible.
Honestly I made this one after my friend kept saying every february she seriously wanted a shirt that just said the quiet part out loud. I customised it for her as a joke gift last valentines and she loved it so much I listed it. Now every january I get a little rush of orders from people making galentines day gifts for their single friends. Its the kind of present that makes someone laugh before they even try it on.
Back woven cotton with tearaway and keep your bobbin thread matching the fabric colour so the back of the lettering stays clean. Stitch on white, black, or heather grey for maximum readability. Youll want that pop-of-colour heart in red or pink against the neutral base. Its one thread swap. Add a hooped tearaway and go, the whole stitch-out runs under 20 minutes on a mid-speed domestic.
