The ghost is that classic rounded shape, wobbly at the edges like its floating, and its holding a little jack-o-lantern out in front. The pumpkin has a full carved face, orange body, green stem. Six colours in total: white for the ghost, black details, orange and two shades for the pumpkin, plus a dark outline pass that ties everything together. At 793 stitches per square inch this is one of the denser designs in this range, so the colour blocks sit really solid and dont bleed into each other.
Four sizes, 2.01 to 5.01 inches wide, stitch counts from 5197 to 16617. The smaller sizes need a topping of water-soluble film if youre hooping on anything with any texture, otherwise the white ghost fill disappears into the fabric surface. Use cutaway stabiliser on all sizes, dont skip it, the satin fill in the ghost body needs firm backing to sit flat. Hoop the fabric right, not with the fabric pulled tight in the hoop frame, just held firmly without stretch. A cutaway layer underneath and good hooping technique is basically all you need for this one.
Im always suprised how many of these I move in September, before Halloween even shows up in shops. People plan ahead for fall projects. One customer bought 3 sizes at once last autumn to do a kids costume accessory set, hat, bib, and bag all matching. Great on black felt or dark orange cotton if you want the ghost to pop, or stitch it on a white shirt where the black details carry the contrast. Stitch the largest mid 5-inch on a trick-or-treat bag with a dark fabric and the 6 colours really come through against the background.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
