The girl and the cat are pressed together in a hug and its the kind of pose where you can tell they do this all the time. She's got big round eyes, soft peach skin fill, and a little half-smile. The cat its tucked right into her chest with its eyes closed, totally relaxed. Cream and orange tabby markings on the cat with satin column stitches running along the fur direction so it doesnt look flat.
Eleven colours in the design including 3 skin-tone variants for the face and hands, 2 tabby oranges, soft cream undercoat, and the black outline work that ties the whole composition together. Wilcom handled the facial detail areas with tight density satin fills so the faces read clearly even at 5.5 inches. At the larger 8.5-inch size the fur texture sections really open up and the stitch direction becomes visible in a good way.
Last christmas I had a run of orders for this on holiday tote bags and the feedback was really positive. People have been ordering it for cotton canvas totes mostly because the fabric takes the density at 786 well without puckering. And I think the appeal is just that the design is warm without being over the top about it.
Lay heavy cutaway under anything stretchy. Cotton totes and linen bags dont really need it but knit fabric will shift on you without backing. Pop it on a medium hoop setting so the girl figure sits centred with a bit of breathing room around her. Skip dark backgrounds if you want the face details to land properly, cream, white, or pastel fabric lets the skin and fur tones show exactly as intended. Any file issue just Hit me and I'll fix it same day.

- Kids backpacks and school bagsSmall size options down to 5.5 inches fit children's bag panels without crowding the space.
- Baby onesies and toddler teesSoft cotton jersey onesies work great with a tearaway stabiliser and the smaller size options.
- Throw pillows and cushion coversThe rounded composition fits square pillow panels naturally and looks tidy with no extra border needed.
- Zip pouches and cosmetic bagsThe compact design fits standard zip pouch panels and looks sharp on cream or white lining fabric.
- Hoodies and sweatshirts for teensMedium hoodies have plenty of chest space for the larger 8.5-inch version, looks really cosy on grey fleece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
