Pulled this together after a run of requests for something that reads like a diploma crest, not a floral garland. Thats a different thing and alot of designs blur that line. Dont confuse it with a botanical wreath, its not that. The two branches cross at the bottom and arc outward, leaving the centre open, which is the classic Roman-laurel silhouette youre used to seeing stamped on graduation certificates and sports trophies.

Digitised in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio, 1 colour, 5 sizes from 3 inches up to 7 inches wide. The smallest hoop runs at 4,653 stitches and the largest tops out around 10,347. Single-stop run, no colour changes mid-hoop, which keeps bobbin tension clean and finishing fast. I laid the satin columns at a directional slant across each leaflet so the texture reads crisply even on compact hoops. Use cutaway stabiliser on knit or stretch base fabric, youll need that underlay to hold the density in place.

One customer ordered the 5-inch version on a cream pique polo for a corporate golf event and wanted the centre left open so theyd have room to add initials after. Works really well as a framing element, thats kind of the whole point of a wreath shape.

Stitch on a navy canvas tote, a cream cotton twill jacket, or a dark forest blazer and itll read immediately as something official and considered. Pair with a 40wt poly in antique gold for warm tone, or swap to ivory rayon on dark backgrounds. Pick the size based on placement: 3-inch for a cap, 5-inch for a chest crest, 7-inch for a bag front panel.

Hit me up if you need a size outside the 5 included or want advice on stabiliser weight for a specific base fabric.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Graduation cap or gown decorationsThe open centre reads as a natural framing device so graduates hoop it on cap fabric or stitch it onto gown cuffs as a finishing detail.
  • Corporate award ceremony apparelBusinesses running end-of-year awards order this on polo shirts and tote bags to give to winning staff, its the right formality level without being fussy.
  • Sports trophy and achievement patchesSports clubs use the wreath outline around a team number or mascot on practice jackets and staff shirts throughout the autumn season.
  • Polo shirts and blazer chest crestsThe clean symmetry sits well as a left-chest crest on cotton twill blazers or dress shirts for professional-looking branded apparel.
  • Monogram frame for personalised giftsLeave the centre open and stitch initials or a single letter inside it using a separate font file for a personalised gift item that looks custom-made.
  • Diploma and certificate border motif on display fabricHome sewers frame it around a small text block on framed fabric art meant to hang alongside actual certificates or display pieces.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
