Its a paw print, 3 sizes from 1.51 to 3.51 inches, but the main bottom pad takes a heart form and carries 3 smaller heart cutouts punched through it, so you can see the fabric in those little heart shapes. The 4 toe beans up top are the usual rounded oval shapes, all filled solid. The whole thing is one colour, fully filled satin with dense coverage at 629 density.

Stitch count goes from 2,120 at the 1.51 inch size up to 7,964 at the largest 3.51 inch version. Density is 629 which is genuinely dense for the size, so use a lightweight cutaway under everything above the smallest size. Tearaway can pull on the heart cutout edges at the larger sizes and youll end up with jagged edges inside those little hearts. Wilcom EmbroideryStudio mapped the satin paths and the heart cutouts are the tricky part, I set the underlay carefully so the satin fill doesnt bleed into the open areas.

My customers are dog mums and cat mums mostly. One customer last valentines ordered the 3.51 inch size in red on white cotton for a pet bandana set for her whole dog training class, twelve of em, said her students loved getting something so specific to their life. Stitch it on a navy cap front, on a white cotton tote, on a denim dog jacket or on a kid's shirt. Its small enough to work on a lot of placements that a bigger design would never fit.

Best on white, cream, or oatmeal fabric so the red or pink really pops. Skip very dark fabric with a matching dark thread, the cutout hearts wont show up. Use a stabilising topping on any fluffy or textured fabric like fleece or towelling so the satin coverage stays clean.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
