So the whole thing is one colour, which I actually think is kind of the point. That orange-gold thread does all the work. 'it's my' sits up top in a smaller, lighter script and then 'Birthday' swoops in underneath in those big chunky satin letters that almost fill the frame. And its got these little corner bracket decorations, like a banner or a tag, with 4-pointed sparkle stars dotted around and a tiny heart sitting just below the B.
The contrast between the thinner top script and the fat satin fill on the big letters is what gives it weight without needing a second colour. Thats the clever bit. On the 5-inch size the 'Birthday' letters are wide enough that the satin columns really show up nicely and you get that almost 3D raised look that satin stitch is known for.
Because its single colour you're not swapping threads mid-project, which a lot of people dont realise makes a huge difference to how fast a run actually goes. Load up your gold-orange or warm yellow thread and just go. Last spring I had people ordering this for everything from baby onesies to jumbo tote bags and it held up across all of them. The satin fill at 5k-16k stitches depending on size is genuinely forgiving on a lot of fabric types.
Pop it on cotton jersey knits, not just wovens, because stitch density sits low to moderate across all 6 sizes. Use tearaway backing on knits plus a water-soluble topping to stop the loops sinking into the pile. Keep the hoop tension snug because that script outline at the top wants to sit flat, and trim the topping away once you're done.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
