Just a lil kitten peeking out from behind a tree with big round eyes and both front paws gripping the trunk edge. The head and ears are the only things visible above the tree line, and the overall feel is that classic cat move of pretending to be hidden when theyre definitely not. The tree itself is a simple rounded trunk shape that frames the kitten without stealing focus. Six colours in this one.
Warm orange or tan fur, pale pink inner ears and muzzle, bright eyes, brown trunk, green leaf details at the top, and dark outlines throughout. Stitch count goes from about 21k at 2.38 inches up to nearly 49k at the 4.4 inch max. Its a dense little design, density sitting around 1709, which means the filled areas come out really solid and plush. Use a cutaway stabiliser without question here, the kitten fur especially needs that firm backing.
Seven sizes available, all narrow and tall. Heights go up to 6.5 inches, widths only up to 4.4 inches, so its portrait-shaped. I had a bunch of cat people order this last autumn for tote bags and they all loved how the kitten reads from a distance. Even the smallest 2.38 inch version has enough detail to be clear. Stitch it on a hat brim or pocket for something subtle, or go big and centred on a tee.
Best on cotton jersey, canvas, or fleece. Hoop with a cutaway and make sure the fabric is pulled flat or the dense fills will tunnel on the fur sections. Skip slippery fabrics like satin or polyester blends where that stitch density will ripple. Pop a topping film over fleece or terry so those dense fur fills dont sink into the pile.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
