And its not just three ladybugs sitting there in a row. Each ones perched at a slightly different angle along a loose diagonal, and theres a dashed red trail that swoops between em, looping into tiny heart shapes as it goes. So its three bugs mid-flight rather than a static repeat motif, which is honestly what makes it work.
Wing caps are round satin fills in a proper fire-engine red with big black spots on top. Heads are solid black, two thin antennae curling at the tip into small spirals like little question marks. Theres a faint central split line on each wing cap. The dashed trail between the bugs uses a running stitch in the same red so its literally the flight path drawn in thread. Its a small detail but it pulls the trio into one scene instead of just three identical bugs dropped on fabric.
Five sizes from 2.97 by 3.5 inches up to 6.35 by 7.5 inches. Smallest fits a shirt pocket or a baby cap brim no problem. Biggest fills a standard 8-inch hoop nicely for a nursery piece. Stitch count tops out at 16,472 on the largest, which stitches out in under 20 minutes on most home machines. Density is 346 per square inch so its wont stiffen up light woven cotton or fleece. A customer ordered the small size last spring for a baby shower gift set and sent a photo of the red on white bib, and it looked exactly right.
Works best on white, soft yellow, light mint or pale pink where the red really pops. Stay away from burgundy or deep red fabric, the wing caps will dissapear. Use a medium cutaway on knit fabrics and a tearaway backing for plain cotton or linen. Float water-soluble topping on towelling if the antennae spirals need to stay crisp.
Holler me if a red stitch run pulls toward one side and Ill point you at the right thread.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
