This is the straightforward victory laurel -- two arcing branches that open upward, classic symmetrical shape, nothing added, nothing fussed over. Stitch it in ochre, olive, ivory, black, whatever suits the project. One colour, one stop, done. The leaves are individually satin-filled with directional stitching that gives each leaf a bit of dimension, so it doesnt look flat even at the small sizes. 44 trims in the sequence which sounds like a lot for a single-colour design, but thats just how the leaf clusters are routed -- each cluster has its own underlay before the satin goes down.
Six sizes total. Smallest is 2.01x1.56 inches at 2,465 stitches -- fits a twill cap front panel without touching the seams. Largest goes to 7.01x5.46 inches at 7,666 stitches. The density is kept at 200, which is deliberately on the lighter side so it doesnt weigh down finer fabrics like organza or a thin cotton poplin. Email me if you want a heavier-density version for thick canvas or denim -- I can run that for you separately, its a quick adjustment in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio.
One customer wanted it on a polyester pennant banner for a school award ceremony last autumn and said it came out beautifully. I wasnt suprised, this shape reads well from a distance because the arcs are so clean. Use a tearaway stabiliser on stable wovens, cutaway on anything with stretch. Skip the iron-on backing if you plan to wash the item frequently -- it degrades faster than proper sewn stabiliser. Pick the 2-inch size for cap work, jump to the 5-inch for anything displayed on a wall.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Monogram frames -- stitch initials inside the open topThe open-top arc creates a natural frame for a 2-3 letter monogram centred below the wreath peak.
- Sports award items like pennants and medal ribbonsThe 7-inch size works well on a fabric pennant banner for sports trophies and award displays.
- Academic achievement certificates and graduation giftsClassic enough to feel formal on a graduation sash or keepsake pillow.
- Wedding favour ribbon and sash embroideryThe 2-inch version fits a satin wedding ribbon without overpowering the text alongside it.
- Baby name announcement items and nursery decorStitch above a baby name in script for a nursery hoop art piece.
- Corporate logo border for branded merchandiseThe clean simple silhouette scales well on branded tote bags or uniform shirt pockets.
- Hat and cap embroidery as a standalone decorative motifThe 2-inch size fits neatly on a twill cap front panel without touching the crown seam.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
