Full lavender bush, multiple tall upright stems all fanning out from the base, each one lined with clustered leaf buds all the way up. Rendered in one bright kelly green thread. Sounds unexpected but the satin and tatami fill gives the whole thing this lush botanical depth that looks genuinely three-dimensional when its hooped and stitched out on fabric. The broad base leaves anchor it nicely so it doesnt float on the cloth.

Four sizes, smallest at 3.51 x 2.17 inches with around 12,002 stitches, largest goes up to 6.51 x 4.03 inches at about 21,124 stitches. Single colour means no stops, no colour changes, just one thread from start to finish. I use cutaway stabiliser on most fabric types for this one since the density sits at 805 and the upright stems need something solid underneath or theyll shift.

Pop it on natural linen and it looks like a floral kitchen piece from a French market. A craft-fair seller I know ran a whole batch of these last spring, keeps getting asked for them by folks putting together botanical gift sets and garden-themed projects. A regular of mine did a set of cream cotton napkins with this and she sent photos after, it was realy lovely to see. Use a 40wt rayon in grass green and the satin sections catch the light beautifully.

Use cutaway on denim or canvas, add a topping layer on terry cloth. Skip the no-show mesh on fleece, it dosent hold the underlay well enough for the narrow stem details. Center the 6.51 inch version in a 5x7 hoop, or drop to a 4x4 for the smallest. Pair it on a linen pouch or an apron and it reads as a complete design on its own. Gorgeous on sage or cream twill aswell.
