Worked up this design around that classic idea of swapping the O in LOVE with an actual heart. Simple idea but the execution is kinda everything. The script is proper modern calligraphy style, thick downstrokes and thin upstrokes, and all 4 letters connect in one flowing stroke from the L right through to the E. The heart really really sits where the O belongs so it reads naturally, its not forced.
Single colour, one thread, which keeps it flexible. Pick whatever works with your project. Red on white cotton is the classic, but Ive seen it in navy on cream linen and it looks really refined. Burgundy on blush also works well. Stitch count on the big 7.1 inch size is 25,037 and it runs clean with density at 469, theres no skipping issues on standard cotton or canvas.
Five sizes from 3.3 inches up to 7.1 inches. That smallest size works as a sleeve or collar accent without being too precious about it. I get messages from people using this for matching hoodie sets, kinda just the left chest placement on both pieces so they work as a couple set without screaming it. Last valentines I had a whole bunch of orders for couple sets and this was one of the most ordered designs.
Back woven cotton and denim with tearaway, cutaway on any stretch jersey or fleece. Hoop it snug because the letter connections are fine and any movement shows. Im usually quick to respond if you need a different aspect ratio or run into file issues, so dont hesitate to send me a message.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Couples matching hoodie chest printA matching pair of hoodies with this stitched on the left chest in the same colour thread reads as a couple set without being obvious about it.
- Valentines day tshirt designOn a plain white tee in red thread its the cleanest valentines day shirt you can make, the script reads from across the room.
- Wedding tote bag letteringStitched on a cotton canvas tote in navy it makes a practical everyday bag that carries a romantic vibe year round, not just in February.
- Canvas apron romantic accentOn a plain cotton apron in burgundy thread this adds a warm romantic touch without the kitsch that most apron embroidery falls into.
- Linen cushion cover centrepieceCentred on a linen cushion cover the 5 inch version is big enough to make an impression but not so large it dominates the whole piece.
- Denim jacket sleeve detailOn a denim jacket sleeve in white thread this is a subtle detail that reads well up close but doesnt shout from a distance.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
