Magical unicorn with a seashell crown, 6 colours, 4 sizes. The design sits in a slightly front-facing profile position, rounded kawaii-adjacent shape with stubby legs and an oversized head in a cute way. On top of the horn sits a little stacked crown made from what looks like scallop shells layered together, with a couple of tiny flowers tucked in alongside. The mane trails back in soft waves. Stitch range is 6,046 at 3 inches up to 14,883 at 6 inches, density at 484 and built in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio.

Six thread colours means you'll stop 6 times, but none of the colour changes are complicated. Pastel lilac for the main body, soft pink for the mane, a pearlescent white on the horn, sandy beige tones on the shells, mint green for tiny leaf details, and a warm coral on the flowers. Layer a medium cutaway stabiliser on the back of your knit or woven fabric before hooping. The satin outlines on the shell edges are whats holding the whole crown area together visually, so run those last and dont rush the thread tension.

I've had a lot of messages about this one, mostly from mums and grandmothers making items for little girls who are into both the beach and the magical-creature thing. One customer messaged me last spring just before a birthday saying her daughter wanted a unicorn but they'd just come back from a beach holiday, and she said this was exactly the overlap she needed. Makes sense, the design doesnt force you to choose between the two themes.

Best on light-coloured cotton jersey, fleece, or woven fabric. Avoid dark backgrounds unless you're going for a bold contrast look, the pastel palette works best with breathing room. Pop it on a kids sweatshirt at 5 inches, a cotton baby blanket panel at 6, or a small 3-inch version on a onesie chest.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
