This is the botanical version of mama bear and it looks completly different from the usual solid silhouette style. The bear shape is there but its framed and softened by flowing leaf and vine details around the edges, giving it more of a nature illustration feel than a cartoon or graphic. Its the kind of design that reads as thoughtful and considered, not mass produced, which is exactly what you want for a gift piece for any mum.
No stitch count or size data was attached to this listing so I cant give exact numbers, but the leaf work around the silhouette will add to the run time compared to a plain bear outline. Woven fabrics work best here, canvas, cotton twill, linen blends. Tearaway stabiliser is your friend for those materials. The leaf detail needs the hoop to stay snug the whole way through, any loosening mid-run will show in the fine vines. Worth using a fresh needle too, especially a sharp 75/11.
People are using this on tote bags for new mums, on baby blanket corners, on linen throw pillow covers for a nursery, and on sweatshirt backs for a casual mama bear statement. One customer made a set of these on natural linen pouches as baby shower favors, which was a genuinely lovely idea. The botanical framing works especially well in a two-tone green and brown palette if you want it to feel really earthy.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
