This daisy isnt standing up straight. Its tilted to the side, head slightly drooping, the way a real daisy looks on a warm afternoon when the stem starts giving way. The petals are outlined and partially open, fanning out from a chunky filled orange centre that acts as the visual anchor. A single curved dark green stem bends down and to the left, keeping the whole thing feeling loose and natural rather than stiff.
My sister stitched this on a set of linen napkins last month, 4 colours total so she had three thread changes which she said was less work than she expected. Back it with a light tearaway on woven fabrics, that curved stem has only 4 trims so the underside stays tidy. Stitch at 4 inches for napkins, the orange centre pops nicely at that size. Use a medium cutaway if you're putting this on denim or canvas tote fabric to keep the stem curve clean.
Its kinda the perfect daisy for people who want something botanical but not fussy. No shading layers, no complex fill angles, just clean outlines and a warm centre that catches the eye. That orange reads beautifully against navy, olive, or cream fabric, and if you swap it for yellow you get a more classic meadow-daisy look without changing anything else.
9 sizes from 3.5 to 7.5 inches, 9,156 to 20,669 stitches. All 4 thread colours shown in the PDF colour chart included with your download.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Linen napkins and table runners for casual dining setsThe tilted composition fills a napkin corner naturally without needing to recentre the design.
- Cotton tote bags with a summer botanical themeStitch in the 5 inch size on a tote front panel, the orange centre draws the eye immediately.
- Denim shirt pockets or jacket chest panelsThe 3.5 inch version sits perfectly on a standard shirt pocket without crowding the edge.
- Small zippered coin purses or card pouchesAt small sizes the design holds its shape well, good for coin purse front panels.
- Baby bibs and burp cloths in soft cottonSoft outlines and light stitch count make it gentle enough for baby-grade fabrics.
- Canvas sneaker tongue or side panel accentThe narrow height suits the side panel of a canvas sneaker at the 3.5 inch setting.
- Hoop art stretched on natural linen for wall displayStretched on an 8 inch hoop with oatmeal linen, it reads like a pressed wildflower print.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
