This daisy isnt standing up straight. Its tilted to the side, head slightly drooping, the way a real daisy looks on a warm afternoon when the stem starts giving way. The petals are outlined and partially open, fanning out from a chunky filled orange centre that acts as the visual anchor. A single curved dark green stem bends down and to the left, keeping the whole thing feeling loose and natural rather than stiff.
My sister stitched this on a set of linen napkins last month, 4 colours total so she had three thread changes which she said was less work than she expected. Back it with a light tearaway on woven fabrics, that curved stem has only 4 trims so the underside stays tidy. Stitch at 4 inches for napkins, the orange centre pops nicely at that size. Use a medium cutaway if you're putting this on denim or canvas tote fabric to keep the stem curve clean.
