Single flower on a straight stem, petals fanned open like something pressed between the pages of an old book. The outer petals are pure black line-art, thin curved lines sweeping outward from the centre in a radiating pattern. The middle of the flower gets a soft blush pink fill, kind of a dusty rose colour, R255 G182 B179 if youre matching thread. Its not a heavy fill, more like a wash sitting behind the outline so the petal detail still reads through it.
Two small leaves sit low on the stem, drawn the same way, outlined in black with directional line texture showing the leaf veins. The whole design has a botanical-illustration quality, the sort of thing you'd see framed in a French linen shop or on a Scandinavian homeware brand. 5 sizes run tall and narrow rather than square, so its built for garment placements and tote bag fronts where a vertical floral works better than a round one.
I use this design alot on off-white linen and pale grey cotton because those backgrounds let the dusty rose centre and the dark outline breathe. On white cotton it also looks clean but the pink reads bolder. Avoid dark fabric here, the blush completely disappears and youre left with just the outline which still looks ok but you lose half the design. Drop it at 3 inches on a shirt breast pocket or run the full 7.5-inch version centred on a tote and both work. Last november a customer ordered this specifically for a set of 6 bridesmaid tote bags, all in natural linen at the 5-inch size, came out beautifully she said.
Medium density at 407 stitches per square inch keeps it from being a heavy stitch. Lay a cutaway under your linen and slip a water-soluble topping on if the weave is a bit loose, that keeps the pink fill from sinking into the fabric gaps. The stem is single-line running stitch so slow your machine down on that last pass. British sizing note: fits neatly on a standard 150mm x 150mm hoop at the 3.5-inch size.
Drop me a note if the blush pink doesnt match your thread brand and Ill advise on a substitute colour code.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
