Worked up this most wonderful time of year quote design as a cursive pillow piece -- the kind that goes on a cream throw and stays up through the whole december season. The lettering style uses ribbon-serif forms, meaning each letter has a slight rounded foot and the ascenders loop generously, like calligraphy done with a broad nib pen. All in one rich evergreen thread, theres no colour changes needed. Simple to run, high-impact finish.
Five sizes, 3.49 inches wide up to 7.51 inches, stitch counts from 8,324 to 17,541. I use Wilcom EmbroideryStudio for all my text work and the satin column angles on cursive like this need careful planning or the thin connectors between letters pull at an angle and break under pressure. This file has those connectors reinforced with a short running stitch underpass so theyre stable even on cream linen. Density at max is 488 stitches per square centimetre which is dense for a text-only file -- the ribbon serifs add mass. Hooped firm, medium cutaway stabiliser.
One customer suprised me by ordering the 7.5-inch for a whole set of cream canvas throw pillows in november, said theyd done 6 cushions in a weekend. On a cream pillow the deep evergreen pops, its one of those combinations that doesnt need anything else. Stitch it on a cream cotton pillow cover, a natural linen table runner, or on wide-hem hem of a holiday curtain panel. The 4-inch fits neatly on a card-holder wallet face or a small pouch.
Best results on medium-to-heavy natural weaves. Skip stretchy fabrics entirely, the long satin strokes on the ascenders will lift at the ends on any knit without serious stabilising, and youll spend more time fixing the run than it was worth. Cream is the default fabric here but warm ivory and natural linen work aswell.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
