I drew this lil mouse aftrer my niece asked for a birthday card design with a mouse holding flowers. I digitised it from her pencil sketch and customised the bouquet so it had spring blooms. Took two weeks to dial in the soft pink fur shading on the cheeks without making the mouse look like it was blushing too hard.
Fourteen colours total, that sounds like alot but most are subtle gradients in the petals. 9 sizes total. Stitch counts 10507 small to twenty eight thousand one thirty seven big. Density 508, low-moderate, the cartoon style needs softer fill to keep the rounded cheeks looking fluffy not stiff. Hoop a medium cutaway. 75/11 sharp needle for the fine flower detail. Heres my honest take: dont overthink placement. Its grown into a fave of mine.
A bunch of mum customers have been ordering this for ya kids nursery decor. One mum stitched the 5 inch onto a quilted baby blanket centre block and the petals came out fluffy ya like cotton candy. Thats what the lower density does, softens the look.
Use this on nursery quilts, baby bibs, kids tee fronts, romper chests, hooded towels, drawstring toy bags, throw pillows for kids rooms. Stay clear of stretchy lightweight knits without proper cutaway, em rounded fills tunnel on thin fabric. Pair with soft pastel thread shades on cream or pale lavender backgrounds for best cosy result.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Nursery quilt centre block designNursery quilt-block centre patch where the low density gives the cartoon a cotton-candy fluff, a new-mum customer flagged this for gift orders.
- Baby cotton bib front pieceCotton baby bib with the smaller hoop size, ballpoint needle keeps the fabric stable through baby-feed-time stretch and tug.
- Kids tee shirt centre chestReads as storybook-sweet rather than baby-twee, which a midwife mentioned at the time of order ten kids tee fronts for her clinic open-house gifts.
- Romper front chest placementRomper front placement with 60-weight cotton thread for a baby-skin-friendly feel, my customer hooped a dozen for new-parent welcome boxes.
- Hooded baby towel corner accentsets the design off well on a hooded terry towel corner, water-soluble topping stops the loops swallowing the small bouquet detail.
- Drawstring toy bag side panelCotton drawstring bag side panel for a toddlers toy-collection bag, poly thread anchors the colour through repeat playroom drops.
- Kids room throw pillow frontBrushed cotton pillow front for a little-girls bedroom, slow machine speed protects the crisp flower detail across the wider hoop.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
