Just the eye. No face, no whiskers, just this one intense cat eye staring at you. The slit pupil is done in deep black satin fill and the iris has radial directional stitching fanning out from the centre, which is what gives it that real cat anatomy feel. 3 colours total but its way more complex looking than that. The vertical slit against the iris radiating outward is what makes people stop and look twice.

I get a bunch of people asking for halloween cat stuff and this ones become my go-to for it. But honestly ya dont need halloween as an excuse. Cat lovers buy this all year for hoodies and bags, its not a seasonal thing at all. Last October a customer ordered 9 sizes worth to put on every pocket of her jacket collection and they looked genuinely wild. Ive sold this to goths, cat cafe owners and halloween costume builders equally.

9 sizes, smallest is 2.12 inches wide, largest hits 4.54 inches across. Stitch count goes from about 9,200 up to 21,200 which is comfortable territory for most machines. The iris sections have moderate density so its stitches out smoother than it looks in the preview. That pupil shape runs as a solid satin column that goes fast and clean.

Use a cutaway stabiliser on knits and stretchy jersey because the radial satin lines will distort otherwise. On woven cotton or denim a medium tearaway works fine. Hoop tight, run at medium speed on the iris area. Youll want the base solid or the slit shape shifts out of register.

Dark fabrics are where this one really lands. Black, charcoal, midnight navy, dark olive all work. Drop me a message if anything looks off in the file and ill sort a replacement right away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
