Right, so this one is nothing like a plain snowflake outline. The arms on this design curl at the tips, theres teardrop accent shapes nestled between each arm, and the hub in the centre is this little flower cluster with oval petals. Its honestly more of a baroque ornament than a snowflake, its just shaped like one.
Pop it on a dark navy or burgundy fabric and it looks like something you'd see on an expensive holiday table runner. I had a lady order this for a christmas tree skirt project last december and she sent a photo after, looked brilliant on the dark green felt. Stitch it in gold thread on black velvet if you want something that genuinely looks festive and luxe. The fill is solid satin throughout which means the thread coverage is dense and the design has real weight to it on the fabric.
Four sizes, 2 inch up to 5 inch, stitch count goes from around 3,500 at the small end up to over 8,200 at the large end. Thats a decent stitch count for something this intricate at 2 inches, which tells you how tightly packed the fill is. Wilcom did a good job on the density here, its consistent across the sizes without overloading.
Use felt, wool, velvet, denim or heavy cotton for the best result. Thinner fabrics will need a firm stabiliser underneath so the dense fill doesnt pucker. On stretchy fabric I would only do the smaller sizes. If anything in the download is off, just Drop me a message and Ill sort you out quickly.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Christmas tree skirt panelsRepeated across a felt tree skirt the 5 inch version makes a bold and coordinated Christmas centrepiece.
- Holiday table runner accentsA single motif centred on a linen table runner gives a holiday dinner table a proper festive feel.
- Winter throw pillow coversThe 4 inch version centred on a velvet throw pillow cover looks rich and seasonal without any fuss.
- Velvet gift bag frontsOn the front panel of a dark velvet gift bag it replaces the need for a printed tag or sticker.
- Wool scarf centre motifsA single 3 inch version stitched into the centre of a wool scarf makes a subtle winter focal point.
- Festive apron chest panelsCentred on the bib area of a canvas or denim apron it works for christmas kitchen styling photos.
- Mantel stocking panelsOn the upper panel of a felt stocking the 4 or 5 inch version fills the space cleanly without other elements.
- Holiday wreath ribbon centresStitched onto a wide satin or grosgrain ribbon used on a wreath it becomes the anchor detail of the whole piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
